For the last 7 years now, comic book shops around the country have been celebrating an annual event called Free Comic Book Day. If you go to a participating comic book store on that day, you’ll receive at least one (but probably several) free comic books. This year (2008) the event falls on Saturday, May 3, so if you want to grab some free comics for yourself or the kids, head on out to your nearest comic book shop.
